I’m a scientist and ceramicist based in San Diego, California. I earned my BS and MS in Earth Sciences from the Scripps Institution of Oceanography. I’m most curious about how the Earth, its oceans, and life have evolved together. I explore these themes by applying chemistry to reconstruct Earth’s climate history over deep geologic time. My art is motivated and inspired by the same questions— Earth-pressed, slow-made, with my own two hands.
